Thousands of years ago, the Niya Kingdom flourished as the wealthiest trading hub along the Silkroad. However, when the Niya High Priests attempted forbidden dark sorcery to gain immortality, the desert gods summoned an apocalyptic sandstorm that buried the entire city beneath shifting dunes overnight. To this day, Niya Soldiers and Generals wander the ruins as undead spectral guardians.
