You know what, it’s only been 3 days and I’ve already had enough. I’m sorry, but this server is ruining the nostalgia for the game. It’s hard to shake the feeling that it was created purely for profit. Everything in the game revolves around Silks -
you pay, you get perks and hit the top of the server ranks; you don't pay, and you’re screwed. The VIP buff is a joke; whoever pays gets bonuses that heavily impact gameplay, and you can't even obtain this buff through normal gameplay. @Strike it makes me laugh when you say "don't worry, trust us, it will be fine" yeah right, maybe for 2 weeks, I’m sure this server won't last a month. Unfortunately, there have been plenty of servers like this, and there will be many more. Nothing sets this server apart from all the other seasonal servers built just to pull people in and squeeze as much cash out of them as possible. I'm glad I'm calling it quits before spending any real money here. @Wicked the admin team's responses are simply weak, you can't give a straight answer to any question about the server's future. A simple question like when the comment event rewards will be distributed gets "when events are over," and when will they be over? "when it's over, we will announce it." Seriously, an event with no defined timeframe? Will you manage to announce it before everyone leaves the server?
And now to all players who just enjoy playing Silkroad: THIS SERVER IS NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR TIME ON. There is nothing here that you can't find on dozens of other existing servers, and it's no different from the thousands of dead servers that stayed online for 1, 2, or maybe 3 months.
