Notice the level spread: you farm Lv.75–76 mobs on Roc Mountain, then use the drop on a Lv.10 Yeoha, then farm Lv.51–52 mobs in Karakoram.

BEFORE YOU START — READ THIS

• You must already hold Berserk Grade 1. This chain does not open until the Level 95 chain is finished.
• You cannot enter the Test Arena while wearing a Job outfit.
• Have free inventory space before talking to Sonhyeon — he cannot give you the Traps of Eradication if your inventory is full, and you cannot take the test without them.
• Dying in the Test Arena ends the test immediately. You get teleported back to Sonhyeon after 15 seconds. Ask him for a fresh set of traps before retrying.
• Bring about 20 Resplendent Crystals before you travel to the Gate of Cleopatra. Each one is consumed on use and the excavation can fail.
• The Underworld Spirit can only be damaged while you are in Berserk mode.
• You cannot start the ritual with a trade transport summoned. Dismiss your transport first.
• The ritual has a time limit — you get a warning 5 minutes before it expires.

WALKTHROUGH

Step 1 — Army Test 2 (Chinese)

1. Go to General Sonhyeon in Jangan. He offers the second imperial army test.
2. Accept, then talk to him again when you are ready.
3. He gives you Traps of Eradication — make room in your inventory first, he will refuse otherwise.
4. Take off any Job outfit and choose "Enter the Test Arena".
5. Inside there is 1 general — the Military Captain (Lv.100, 1,666,275 HP) — plus Army Surgeons (Lv.95) that spawn to interrupt you.
6. Use the Traps of Eradication during the fight; that is what they are for.
7. You win by either:
   • Killing the Military Captain within 10 minutes, or
   • Surviving the full 10 minutes
8. If you die the test ends and you return to Sonhyeon in 15 seconds. Ask him for a new supply of traps, then retry.
9. After passing, talk to Sonhyeon again.

I will teleport you to the Test Arena. In the Test Arena, there will be 1 general and soldiers who will appear to interrupt you. Use these Traps of Eradication and it will be a great help to you.

Step 2 — New Challenge (Chinese)

1. Sonhyeon explains that joint research with the allied nations produced a formula for a pill that enhances Ultra-Berserk.
2. The army keeps the formula, but you have to supply the ingredients. The key one is the Piece of underworld Spirit.
3. Go to Exorcist Miaoryeong in Jangan.

What we need is the Piece of underworld Spirit. Go ask Miaoryeong the Exorcist how to obtain one and she will help you.

Step 3 — Branch of life (Chinese)

1. Miaoryeong can open the gate to the underworld, but she needs a Living Flame to pull a spirit through. The Living Flame takes two ingredients: the Branch of Life and the Relic of Sun God.
2. Travel to Roc Mountain and hunt Goat (Lv.76) and Shaur (Lv.75) until you get the Energy of mountain.
3. Now find a Yeoha or Decayed Yeoha (Lv.10) — the tree monsters on the Chinese continent.
4. Use the Energy of mountain on the Yeoha. This refines its sap into the Branch of Life.
5. Target anything else and you get "That item cannot be used on the selected monster."
6. Bring the Branch of Life back to Miaoryeong.

On the Roc Mountain where the monstrous bird of tremendous power rules, there are monsters called Goat and Shaur. Get the Energy of mountain from them and use it on the tree monster, Yeoha, to obtain the Branch of Life.

Step 4 — Relic of Sun God (Chinese)

1. The Relic of Sun God was lost at the site of the last ceremony held by the Sun God's worshippers — in Asia Minor, near the Gate of Cleopatra.
2. The relic attracts light, so you need something that shines brightly to find it: the Resplendent Crystal.
3. Hunt Ishade (Lv.51) and Hashade (Lv.52) in Karakoram — the icy roads — and collect the crystals.
4. Each crystal is consumed on a single use, so gather around 20 before you set off.
5. Travel to the Gate of Cleopatra and use the Resplendent Crystals there. Anywhere else you get "You cannot use the Resplendent Crystal here."
6. Excavation can fail — "You have failed to excavate the Relic of Sun God. Please try again." Just use the next crystal.
7. Once you have the Relic of Sun God, bring it to Miaoryeong.

The Relic of Sun God has the kind of property that attracts light. You can find the Artifact with a bright light. You can use the Resplendent Crystals only once, so find about 20 of them before you leave to look for the Relic of Sun God.

Step 5 — Spirit of underworld (Chinese)

1. With the Branch of Life and the Relic of Sun God, Miaoryeong can build the Living Flame. Talk to her, then talk again once she has prepared the ritual.
2. She hands you the Exorcist's charm — without it you cannot see the soul.
3. Dismiss any trade transport and choose "Begin the ritual".
4. An Underworld Spirit (Lv.95, 113,162 HP) is drawn out of the gate.
5. You must be in Berserk mode to damage it. Only when the two spirit powers collide can you break a fragment off it.
6. Kill it to obtain the Piece of Spirit of underworld. A warning appears 5 minutes before the ritual expires.
7. If you fail, run the ritual again.

To summon a Spirit of underworld, you have to open the gates to the underworld and draw one out into this world with the Living Flame.

Step 6 — Another Increment (Chinese)

1. Take the Piece of Spirit of underworld to General Sonhyeon in Jangan.
2. He makes the enhanced pill. Choose "Eat the pill".
3. Done.

There. The pill is ready. Once you consume this pill, you will be able to use even more powerful Berserk abilities. Also, His Imperial Majesty congratulates those who have endured the challenging journey to enhance the Ultra-Berserk ability and has granted a title.
