Fellows are Silkroad's advanced combat pets: they fight with skills of their own, wear dedicated gear, and many of them can be ridden. This guide explains the three Fellow types, all twelve Fellows, how to get one, and how satiety, death, level transfer and skill slots work. The complete skill and gear tables are in our Fellow Skills and Gear topic.
What makes a Fellow different
- A Fellow attacks the target you choose, or serves as a mount when it wears a saddle that allows riding.
- It thinks for itself: its AI picks the right moment to use its skills.
- There are three types – Attack, Defensive and Buff – so you can choose the role that suits your play style.
- Fellow-only items raise its stats or add special functions such as SP storage.
The three types
| Type | Strength | Weakness | Signature skills |
|---|
| Attack | Highest damage | Lower HP than the other types | Area attacks, debuffs on enemies |
| Defensive | Highest HP. It absorbs or takes hits meant for its owner | Low attack power | Damage redirection to the Fellow, owner defense buffs |
| Buff | Strengthens its owner with buffs | Middle-of-the-road stats | Attack, accuracy and stat buffs for the owner |
Each type comes in a physical and a magic version, so pick the one that matches your build.

How to get a Fellow
There are two ways:
- Summon scroll: buy a Fellow summon scroll in the Item Mall.
- Evolve a growth pet: bring a growth pet and a Potion of Evolution (Item Mall) to a Stable NPC in any town and choose Attack, Defensive or Buff. The pet keeps its level, but its EXP bar starts again from zero.
Right-click the summon scroll in your inventory to call the Fellow.
Dismissing and naming
Dismiss works like for other pets: type
/dismiss or press
Page Up. It does not work while the Fellow is fighting or while you are dead, and turning on Free PvP sends the Fellow back automatically until you turn it off. A dead Fellow cannot be summoned again until you revive it (see below).
You name your Fellow once. Changing the name later needs a
Naming Scroll from the Item Mall.
Levels and EXP
- Fellows earn their own EXP by hunting with you. It does not reduce your EXP in any way.
- They level faster than characters, but a Fellow can never be a higher level than its owner.
- From level 10 on, a Fellow that dies loses EXP – but never a level.
- The Fellow Info window has an Items tab and a Skills tab where you equip gear and check its skills.
Satiety: keep your Fellow fed
Satiety is the Fellow's energy. It is separate from its HP, and every Fellow has its own maximum. It drains over time and every time the Fellow uses an active skill.
| Satiety | Effect |
|---|
| 70% or more | The Fellow fights like a Fellow 10 levels higher |
| Between 30% and 70% | Normal strength |
| 30% or less | The Fellow fights like a Fellow 10 levels lower |
| 0% | The Fellow no longer earns EXP |
Refill it with
Feed Sacks (one per level bracket). Special nutrients from the Item Mall keep satiety at 100% for 1, 7 or 30 days.
Healing and reviving
- Water of Life restores 10% of the Fellow's HP and is sold in shops. Enhanced Water of Life restores 20% and drops from monsters.
- A dead Fellow comes back with a Stone of Resurrection. The stone must match the Fellow's level bracket (1–70, 71–80 and so on up to 111–120).
The full list of consumables is in our Fellow Skills and Gear topic.
Giving orders
Fellows have their own command bar. You can also use shortcut keys or chat commands. The icons cover attack, follow, ride, attack/defense behavior, counterattack behavior, info and dismiss.
Level transfer
You can move a Fellow's level to another Fellow – handy if you want to switch types without leveling from scratch. Bring a
Magic Stone of Transfer (Item Mall) to a Stable NPC, choose Level Transfer, then select the source Fellow and the target Fellow.
Skills at a glance
Fellow skills come in three groups. The Fellow's AI decides when to use them. You cannot fire them yourself, but you can choose which active skills it is allowed to use. Every skill has a trigger chance and a cooldown, and some only fire in certain situations, for example when the Fellow's or your HP drops.
| Group | Where it comes from | How it grows |
|---|
| Unique skills | Built into every Fellow. They unlock one by one as the Fellow levels (at 20, 50, 80 and 110). Active ones cost satiety. | Improve automatically as the Fellow levels |
| Readied skills | Six slots that open at certain levels. You fill them with skills gained from hunting and quests, and the Fellow type limits which ones fit. | Do not level up. You need to find higher versions, and higher Fellow levels can equip higher grades. |
| Item skills | Added automatically by gear: the Amulet gives SP storage skills (store and retrieve SP), the Choker lets the Fellow go berserk when you do. You use these yourself. | Do not level up |
Removing a readied skill
Once a readied skill is slotted, it stays until you remove it with a
Removal Rondo at a Stable NPC.
Quick tips
- Keep satiety above 70% – it is worth ten levels of power.
- Carry Stones of Resurrection for your Fellow's level bracket. A Fellow that dies far from town is otherwise out of the fight.
- Leveling a growth pet first and then evolving it keeps its level, so you do not start the Fellow from level 1.
